(Persia Digest) – An Iranian film festival is being staged in California from 28 April to 19 May 2018. Films screened here are “Bashu – the little stranger”, a timeless work by Bahram Beyzaei, and “24 Frames” by Abbas Kiarostami in the out of competition category of the Department of Film, Television and Digital MediaUCLA School of TFT.

“Bashu – the little stranger” is a 120-minute production from 1985 by the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, starring Susan Taslimi and Adnan Afravian. It will be shown on 19 May at 19h30.

The Department of Film, Television and Digital MediaUCLA School of TFT is the second largest image archiving center in the United States after the Library of Congress and the largest academic media archives in the world, where films are collected, repaired, and screened.
