Five Iranian Films at Sydney Festival

(Persia Digest) – The Sydney Film Festival will run from 6-17 June 2018 in Australia with 60 participating countries. Five Iranian films will also be screened here, including the last project of the late Abbas Kiarostami.

The experimental film “24 Frames” by Kiarostami [sold out], “Three faces” by Jafar Panahi [selling fast], “Pig” by Mani Haghighi [selling fast], “No date, no signature” by Vahid Jalilvand [selling fast], and “Dressage” by Pouya Badkoubeh will be screened from Iran in Sydney.

Also, “Bubble” by Iranian-Australian filmmaker, “The charmer” Swedish-Danish joint production by Milad Alami, and “The miseducation of Cameron Post” by Iranian-American Desiree Akhkavan will be screened here.

A total of 250 films from 60 countries in 160 languages will be shown at the Sydney Film Festival this year.
