(Persia Digest) – The play “Guilty Observer” is a performance launched at “Iranshahr Gallery” today in the presence of the Dutch Ambassador. It will be on stage from 12h00 to 22h00.

The director of the play was born in Holland in 1976 and is a visual artist and playmaker. Doris has also been active in creating installations, performances, and events in museums and public places.

Her works are somewhere in-between the art of installations and performance. She walks the line between critiquing the connection between spectators, player, daily realities, and art. In her performances, spectators get directly involved in the performance, or they can choose to direct it in the direction that they desire.

She highlights the social aspects of her works in which we all dwell. She does not issue a declaration about reality, but tackles mainly the imbalance within the audience and, thus, brings the existing vulnerabilities between the audience and the performance to the forefront.

She will also hold the last panel of the international section in the Festival on 26 January at 20h30 in Iranshahr Gallery, entitled “The witness under the magnifying glass”.

“Guilty Observer” will be performed until 26 January from 12h00 to 22h00 at the above Gallery for the public.
