At a meeting with Hadi Rumiani, Deputy for the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization of Iran, he welcomed the tour operators and said: ‘Thank you for visiting Iran and familiarizing yourselves with our country’s safety and security, tourist attractions, historical and cultural sites, and welcoming people. You are now able to share your experiences with your compatriots and we look forward to hosting a large number of tourists from your countries here.’
A number of operators also expressed their views and suggestions. Hubert Aymer from France stated: ‘I regret not having visited Iran earlier. I was already familiar with the history and culture of Iran and got the chance to see what I had read in books in real life.’
Lynn Vauxchamps, another tour operator from France, also said: ‘Traveling to Iran was a great experience and the hospitality of the Iranian people turned this great experience into an unforgettable trip.’
She added: ‘It is regrettable that there are not enough websites giving information on Iran. Consideration should be given to content production focusing on details to familiarize people from other countries with the attractions of Iran.
