(Persia Digest) – Cinema, theater and TV actor in Iran, Shahab Hosseini, has explained about his film studio in the States: “I registered a film studio two years ago under the name “Seven Skies Entertainment” to discover young talent in the cinema, theater, short film, documentary, and animation.”
He added: “This studio has a twin sister under the same name in the US for various productions by drawing on the rich Iranian culture. We are hoping to be able to provide a platform for this culture rich in literature and the arts on the world market.”
Seyed Shahab-e-Din Hosseini-Tonekaboni is an Iranian cinema, theater, and TV actor, and producer, presenter, and broadcaster. He starred in the film “Superstar” in 2008 and won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor at the Fajr Film Festival. He also starred in the Oscar winning movie of Asghar Farhadi “The Salesman” to win the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival. He also won the silver bear prize for Best Actor from the 2011 Berlinale, together with the cast of the Farhadi film “A Separation”.
