(Persia Digest) – Six documentaries in a collection entitled “Karestan” [Narrations], produced by Mojtaba Mirtahmasb, with the consultation of Rakhshan Bani-Etemad as artistic director, will be shown in the Termeh Festival in Munich.
The documentaries include ‘Poets of Life’ (directed by Shirin Barghnavard), ‘Friends at Work’ and ‘MAHAK: The World She Founded’ (directed by Mohsen Abdolvahab), ‘Mother of the Earth’ (directed by Mahnaz Afzali), ‘Flax to Fire’ (directed by Bahram Azimpour) and ‘Puzzleys’ (directed by Mehdi Ganji).
The “Karestan” collection has been selected for the festival’s documentary section and will be screened in four sessions on Sunday and Monday, 4 and 5 March respectively, at New Maxim cinema in Munich.
A question and answer session will also be held on Monday by the festival organizers, at which Mojtaba Mirtahmasb, Mohsen Abdolvahab, and Haydeh Shirazi (Karafarin) will be answering questions.
Termeh cultural festival is holding its second edition in Munich. It will run from 28 February to 5 March 2018. It is organized by a group of Iranians living in Germany who have invited Iran’s elite artists in photography, music, literature, feature films, documentaries, theater, and fashion design to this year’s edition from Iran.
“Shahr-e Farang” distributors released the documentary CDs on 24 February.
