(Persia Digest) - Tehran Symphony Orchestra has performed in the Santa Maria Church in Rome with the World Youth Orchestra. The same concert will be performed in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on 7 December 2017.

“Where are you martyrs” oratorio by Houshang Kamkar was played and welcomed by the Italian audience among their cheers.

Officials of the Vatican Ministry of Culture, Italy’s Minister of Culture, Director General of the Department of Music of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance Farzad Talebi, the Iranian Ambassador to Italy Jahanbakhsh Eslami, and the Cultural Attaché Akbar Gholi were some of the special guests.

Pieces played included "Concerto for Two Violins" by Johann Sebastian Bach and “Gloria” by Antonio Vivaldi, “Rain” and the “Persian Garden” by Shahrdad Rohani, and “Where are you martyrs” oratorio by Houshang Kamkar.
