EU refuses US demands on Iran
Reuters reports on 6 June 2018 that U.S. officials are touring the globe to pressure countries to shun trade with Iran following Washington’s withdrawal from a nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers, a move that undermines European efforts to save the accord, sources said.
Zarif leaves for Brussels
The Iranian Foreign Minister who was in Moscow early Monday morning has left for Brussels to carry on with his talks on the JCPOA with his counterparts.
Mousavian: EU must not act as grader for military aggression against Iran
Speaking at the Brussels conference, Seyed Hossein Mousavian has stated: “Trump’s request to change the JCPOA international inspection regime is out of order, because the agreement already includes unprecedented, transparent, and regular inspections. Moreover, there are no sunset clauses in this respect in the JCPOA.”
Abbas Kiarostami honored in Brussels
The late Iranian director, Abbas Kiarostami, will be honored in Brussels with the screening of two of his films. The movies “24 Frames” and “Take me home” by the late Kiarostami will be screened here together with “76 Hours and 15 seconds with Abbas Kiarostami” by Seifollah Samadian on 16 and 25 January at the Center for Fine Arts in Brussels, Belgium.
Conducting the Antalya Symphony Orchestra
Ali Rahbari, the General Music Director of Tehran Symphony Orchestra, has been invited by the Antalya State Symphony Orchestra to conduct its young musicians at its inaugural concert on Friday 6 October.
