Gifts of miniature from St Petersburgh to Isfahan University

The Russian city of St Petersburgh has sent gifts of miniatures to Isfahan University in Iran, illustrating the history of the city. Head of the Institute of the Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Irina Samanova, gave a speech at the opening of the Isfahan miniature dedicated to Isfahan University, and said: “These miniatures are a gift from the city of St Petersburgh to Isfahan University.”

“Tanav’o” diversity festival for the Iranian arts has been organized by a group of Persian speaking Germans in Hamburg, Germany, and includes a play, films, concerts, and works by visual artists from Iran. “Tanav’o” is a festival for the arts of Iran. A group of young Germans who have studied Persian literature have endeavored to organize a festival to introduce Iran and its arts. They are fluent in Persian and have spent the last three years working and organizing the first edition of the festival.
