Mogherini response to Trump/Macron talks
AFP wrote that EU diplomatic chief Federica Mogherini insisted today that the current Iran nuclear deal was working and "needs to be preserved", after US President Donald Trump and French counterpart Emmanuel Macron called for a new agreement with Tehran.
Trump agrees with Macron on Iran
Reuters in Washington reports that the U.S. President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron pledged on Tuesday to seek stronger measures to contain Iran, but Trump refrained from committing to staying in a 2015 nuclear deal and threatened Tehran with retaliation if it restarted its nuclear program.

French player goes on stage in Iran
French actress, Natalie Matti, is going on the Iranian stage in Ali Razi’s play. Following her performance in the play “Bazgasht-e pessar-e nafarman” [Return of the prodigal son] which was staged at the Iranshahr playhouse, Natali Mattie and Ali Razi are working together for the second time.
Frodon and French films revisited
A “French Film Week” is being staged at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMoCA) for a third time. Last year this time saw the first of such a week, attended by Jean-Michel Frodon, with the screening of New Wave French films and a movie by the late Abbas Kiarostami. Frodon is revisiting the TMoCA cinematheque again this year, to see through the second French Film Week until 18 April 2018. Meetings of knowledge transfer had been planned for the event, but no concrete news is available on this as of date.
“Paris Cultural Week” in Isfahan
