Five bands perform in Tehran
With the end of the mourning period for the two lunar months of Muharram and Safar in Iran, five bands from Austria, Germany, Sweden, and Azerbaijan will play their fusion and traditional music in Tehran in December.
Kayhan Kalhor collection of albums at 53
Kayhan Kalhor will turn 53 on 24 November and a collection of albums by this prominent musician will be published in Iran on the occasion.
Kayhan Kalhor-Rembrandt Trio fusion
Following his European tour, Kayhan Kalhor, the prominent player of string instrument Kamancheh, played with the Rembrandt Trio at the Ministry of the Interior Hall in Tehran on the 5-6 September and was met with a large audience.

(Persia Digest) – “The moments that your heart beats in my chest” from the album “Niush” is a dynamic piece by Niusha Barimani perfomed with the Kamancheh as the main instrument and accompanied by western and electronic instruments.

(Persia Digest) - Yashar and Annar Etāti have performed this fusion piece called Fornād from the album Tākht. It was created while traveling through Iran and every piece is in fact about a different region of the country.
