Syria to import tractors from Iran
The Union of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture has signed an MoU to import tractors from Iran. The Chief of the Union of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture said: “Tractors imported from Iran will be at the disposal of all Syrian farmers in the next few days at reasonable prices.”
Significant growth of Iran exports to Turkey
Statistics show a 68.5% increase in Iran’s exports to Turkey during the first 11 months of 2017. Iran’s trade representative in Turkey announced: “Exports from Iran to Turkey over the first 11 months of 2017 reached the figure of USD 7BN and 17MM, a growth of 68.5% including oil and gas.”
Holland ready for Iran investment
Susanna Terstal, the Dutch Ambassador to Tehran, in a meeting with Mansur Moazami, Chairman of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO), said: “We encourage Dutch companies to cooperate with Iran; however, at times, obtaining the required information needed for companies that are interested in this cooperation is very difficult.”
80% growth in Iran’s non-oil exports to ASEAN
Iran’s non-oil exports to the Association of Southeast Asia Nations “ASEAN” had a growth of 80 percent in 2017 as compared with a similar period last year. As reported by Persia Digest, in 2017 Iran had more than USD 1280MM of non-oil exports to ASEAN member countries. In 2016, this figure stood at USD 711MM. Showing an 80% growth in Iran’s non-oil exports to ASEAN as compared with the year before that.
Euros 2.3 billion exports from Germany to Iran
Director of the joint Iran-Germany chamber of commerce has announced that Iran’s economy is the most versatile industrial economy in the region, and added: “In the nine months from January to October 2017, Germany has exported euros 2.3 billion worth of goods to Iran and imported USD 328MM from Iran.
