Reduced Iran imports from Russia and US

According to Iran's foreign trade statistics, imports from Russia and the US have dropped dramatically in the 11 months leading up to February. Based on these statistics, imports from Russia worth USD 615MM and an approximate weight of one million tons show a drop of 58 percent as compared to a similar period the previous year. Russia is the 14th exporter of goods to Iran.

80% growth in Iran’s non-oil exports to ASEAN

Iran’s non-oil exports to the Association of Southeast Asia Nations “ASEAN” had a growth of 80 percent in 2017 as compared with a similar period last year. As reported by Persia Digest, in 2017 Iran had more than USD 1280MM of non-oil exports to ASEAN member countries. In 2016, this figure stood at USD 711MM. Showing an 80% growth in Iran’s non-oil exports to ASEAN as compared with the year before that.
