“Invisible Cities” in Tehran
“Invisible Cities" directed by Pino di Buduo, is an offstage performance from Italy which will be shown at the 36th Fajr Theater Festival in Tehran.
This is an artistic interdisciplinary multimedia project which has begun practicing in Tehran with the help of the Italian Embassy here in order to get ready for its performance at the Fajr Festival. The performance has been going round cities such as London, Paris, Rome, and Budapest since 1991.
Iran and Italy sign 35MM euro agreement
Iran and Italy have signed an agreement worth 35 million euros for polypropylene production from natural gas.
The agreement was signed in Tehran between Techint Engineering & Construction and Ardabil Petrochemical Company. The project duration is predicted to be 18 months.
Shahr-e Sukhteh new finds
Season 16 of excavations in the historic enclosure of Shahr-e Sukhteh in Zabol has come to an end with the discovery of part of a cemetery with 66 graves.
One of the graves is a burial vault belonging to a woman with 45 jars and pots buried here.
Euros 250MM donates by Italian for Persepolis
Shiraz University President has announced that an Italian benevolent person will donate euros 250MM for the revival of “Tall-e Ajori” gate in Persepolis, and added: “Over the past decade, “Tall-e Ajori” gate has been studied in collaboration with Bologna University.”
Tehran Symphony Orchestra in Rome
Tehran Symphony Orchestra has performed in the Santa Maria Church in Rome with the World Youth Orchestra. The same concert will be performed in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on 7 December 2017.
Creative nonfiction films screened in Tehran
The Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran will be screening five films by renowned directors from 5-20 December 2017 in an event entitled “Towards Creative Nonfiction”.
As announced by the Museum PR, its cinematheque program for the fall film season will screen the creative nonfiction movies in its last part, organized by Mohammadreza Farzad. These include “Elena” directed by Petra Košta and produced in Brazil in 2012, "Heart of a Dog" directed by Lori Anderson and produced in the US in 2016,
Iran strategic port phase I opens
Phase I of Shahid Beheshti Port in Chabahar was inaugurated by the Iranian President and 60 foreign guests from 17 countries. The opening of Phase I has increased Chabahar’s capacity as a port by 8.5 million tons. This figure will go up to 80 million tons in the last stage.
