Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, has spoken at the meeting of the International Valdai Discussion Club in Moscow today, Monday, 19 February 2018. The speech is as follows
FM Zarif: We do not want to be regional hegemon
The Iranian Foreign Minister has said that Iran wants to be present in a strong region, and added: “We do not want to be the regional hegemon. The time for hegemony has passed. We must remain practical and accept our differences in order to strengthen our region.”
