Speaking at the 3rd Contemporary Music Festival of Tehran (TCMF), Polish musician, Alexander Vanouk commented: “The TCMF is a very valuable event for me as it tries to gather around the contemporary music scene of Iran and the world to work on their favorite subject.”
Iranian dolls tour the world
An exhibition of the dolls and props used in plays by Zahra Sabri called “The Galaxy” will be held in two Polish cities. These dolls were used in the plays “Tuti par” [The parrot has flown], “Naneh Delavar” [Nana Delavar], “The house of Bernarda Alba”, “Zamin va Charkh” [Earth and rotation], “Hasht Lahzeh” [Eight moments], and “Ta yek beshomar” [Count to one] by “Yas Tamam Company”.
Polish film week at Museum of Contemporary Art
A Polish film week will begin at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art Cinematheque starting 27 January 2018. Dignitaries from the world of arts and culture will attend the opening of the film week on Saturday at 17h00. Film screenings will begin following the opening ceremony with 2015 production of Anca Damian “The Magic Mountain” for 89 minutes in the original language with Persian subtitles.
Hassan Rouhani meets with five new ambassadors

Fajr Music Festival: 3 foreign researchers workshop
Concurrent with the start of Fajr International Music Festival, the “Research” section of this event will host a number of guests from Austria, Poland, and Germany. This year, Fajr International Music Festival in its research section will have four speeches and two workshops.
Silk Road success for Iranian films
Over the past week, films from Iran have shined at festivals in the feature and short film categories. “The Salesman” and “Starless Dreams” were chosen as best foreign film and documentary at the Silk Road International Film Festival in China, and the short film “Retouch” and “Run Rostam Run” animation also won best films at festivals in France and Poland.
“In search of a second home” for the Poles
Yesterday, 21 November 2017, concurrent with the 75th anniversary of Polish refugees coming to Iran, Tehran University held an international conference entitled “In search of a second home” in association with Negarestan Andisheh Institute and attended by the Polish Deputy Prime Minister, Ambassador, and its foreign ministry’s high-ranking diplomats.

The play “Isfahan – the city of Polish children”, written by Mohammad Charmshir and designed by Roxana Mehrafzun will go on stage with a cast of children in November in Tehran and Isfahan.
