Iranian artists entertain earthquake children

Journey of no return to Iran’s death cave
“Chama” ice cave is one of Iran’s rarest caves so beautiful that it has not yet met its match.
It is located at a distance of 25kms from “Chalguerd” in Chahar Mahal & Bakhtiari Province. It resembles a large passage filled with masses of snow stacked up to a height of 50 meters. The cold weather here means that stalactites and stalagmites are formed here in all seasons throughout the year.
Ebrahim Monsefi: Southern Iran Music Pioneer
Ebrahim Monsefi, also known as “Nima of the South”, left this world 20 years ago on a day such as this one. He was a pioneer of the music of southern Iran. His melodies, inspired by the music of Iran’s southern province, and modern poetry and arrangement, transformed this folk music of Hormozgan Province into a world music still heard on many lips.
