Maersk Line and MSC stay in Iranian ports
Deputy of the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO) has announced: “Presently, shipping lines will continue their routine operations in Iranian ports.”
Austrian investment in Iranian Railways
At the meeting of the 10-member delegation from the Austrian railways industry with the Deputy of International Affairs of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines & Agriculture (TCCIM), the two sides emphasized the development of bilateral cooperation in rail transport.
Russian Sukhoi Superjet in Iran
The Russian Energy Minister announced the agreement between Moscow and Tehran to purchase the Sukhoi Superjet 100 airliner to Iran's aviation fleet. “We discussed the possibility of our Iranian partners to purchase the Sukhoi Superjet 100, and we have outlined a plan to do this”, Alexander Novak stated in a conversation with "Russia 24".
Transit of goods from Iran grown by 13%
Iran’s supervisor of the Customs Transit Office said: “The volume of foreign goods transiting through Iran has increased by 13% in the past nine months.” Hossein Salari said: “During this period, the transit of goods to more than 100 countries has been done through the integrated electronic customs system.”
Iran welcomes foreign investors in tourism
The CEO of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran announced: “The government of Iran has placed tourism at the top of its agenda as one of its main missions. Thus, I am inviting all foreign investors to enter the tourism sector in Iran and invest here. I can reassure them that the Iranian government will support them and their investment will be profitable.”
Iran-EU trade increases by twofold
As per Eurostat statistics published recently, trade volume between Iran and the EU has doubled over the eight months ending in August 2017 as compared to a similar period last year.
