Commander of Iranian Army’s Navy: The US must leave the Persian Gulf now

(Persia Digest) – The Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, NEDAJA, has said that the US presence in the Persian Gulf is deceptive, adding: “They must leave the Persian Gulf in the near future, as soon as possible.”

Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said: “The Persian Gulf is safe and secure. The presence of the US and others here is simply a show to allow the Persian Gulf Arab States to milk the region.”

He stated: “The Persian Gulf is important in terms of energy, geopolitical position and crossing for the world, the region, and the Islamic Republic.”
