French support for Iranian tourism

(Persia Digest) - Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Secretary of State to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, has visited the Iran pavilion at the 40th IFTM Top Resa in Paris.

During his visit, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne spoke about tourism ties between Iran and France, saying: “France has always supported French tourists traveling to Iran and the expansion of this country’s industry.”

He said he was happy that Iran was participating at the exhibition, adding: “I like Iran and have visited the country twice. Although this was on business, but I have seen its high tourism potentials.”

He continued: “Iran has the capacity to increase its number of visitors by manifold every year.”

Lemoyne expressed his presence at the Iran pavilion as a show of friendship. He also visited some of the companies at the pavilion.

The IFTM Top Resa in Paris is one of France and the world’s top tourism fairs. It began work on Tuesday and will run until Friday in Paris.
