(Persia Digest) – Letters exchanged between Jean-Luc Godard and Ebrahim Golestan are being adapted into a movie.

Variety reports that the French New Wave icon Jean-Luc Godard who seldom plays in movies will be starring in a Vendredi Robinson production based on the letters and correspondence exchanged between Jean-Luc Godard and Ebrahim Golestan, the Iranian filmmaker and literary figure.

The Vendredi Robinson film will be produced in association with French-German TV channel Arté.

Jean-Luc Godard’s latest film, “The image book”, premiered in the competition section of Cannes Film Festival. He intends to adapt it into an exhibit in Paris, Madrid, New York, and Singapore for the public.

The tour will be organized by the production team. Fabrice Aragno from Caza Azul told Variety they are conducting talks with the Beaubourg Museum in Paris and the National Gallery in Singapore.

The exhibit will be showcased in an area of 500 to 600 square meters with scenes from the Godard movie, bringing a dynamic, interactive experience to the audience who will walk through it.
