(Persia Digest) – The Garit falls near Garit village are located at a 50-km distance from Khorram-Abad town and a 30-km drive from Sepid Dasht railway station, in an oak-tree covered, arboracious valley with a pleasant climate.
The distance between this waterfall and the Pāpi section of Garit village is about an hour’s walk and it is a tourist attraction of Loristan Province in western Iran. A road leads right up to the falls which have a drop of 15 meters and a crest line measuring 17 meters.
The Garit falls are also known as the Taf-e Haft Cheshmeh [Seven springs]. The surrounding landscape has oak and hawthorn trees growing in it, together with grapevines.
