(Persia Digest) – An Iranian business center has been inaugurated in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, on Friday afternoon simultaneously with Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade trip to the city.
The business center will be offering consultation, legal, and commercial services to Iranian and Azeri businesses with the aim of expanding regional trade.
The geographical location of Azerbaijan allows it to access markets in Russia and other business partners in neighboring countries. As such, this country plays an important role in expanding Iranian exports to these markets.

Iranian businessmen hope to expand business relations between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan with the launch of the Iranian business center in Baku.
Persia Digest (PD) reports that the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade landed in Azerbaijan on Thursday for a two-day visit at the head of an economic delegation.

Reza Rahmani met with the President of Azerbaijan, Finance Minister, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, and the Head of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On this trip, a groundbreaking ceremony was also held for a joint Iran-Azerbaijan bus manufacturing factory on Hajighabul Industrial Estate, 110kms from Baku. An agreement was signed for the startup of a joint bus and truck plant on the Estate.
