Iran wins RoboCup World Championship 2018

(Persia Digest) - The Robotics Team of the Qazvin Islamic Azad University won the title in the RoboCup World Championship 2018 in Canada in some fields.

The Mechatronic Research Center of the Islamic Azad University of Qazvin was able to win the championship in "Rescue Simulation", "Moving Objects with a Rescue Robot", and "The Technical Competition of the Humanoid Robot" fields at the 2018 RoboCup World League in Montreal, Canada.

The team was also ranked second in the "Child-Size Humanoid Robot", "Adolescent-Size Humanoid Robot" and "Rescue Robot" fields in the competition.

Moreover, the MRL team of Qazvin Islamic Azad University ranked third in the “Industrial Robot” section.

Teams from Iran, Germany, USA, Portugal, Austria, China, Brazil, the Netherlands, Turkey, Mexico, Japan, Canada, and Singapore participated in the competition.
