(Persia Digest) – The Head of the Legal and Regulatory Committee of Iran’s Football Federation has stated that he no longer sees any reasons for leaving remarks made by Carlos Queiroz unanswered, adding: “Measures have been taken for a lawsuit.”
Commenting on recent remarks made by former Team Melli coach, Carlos Queiroz, Ahmadreza Barati added: “We are in contact with FIFA. We officially corresponded with the Colombia Football Federation and the South American Football Confederation today. His remarks which are against the ethical codes of FIFA will certainly be investigated.”
He added: “The Iranian Football Federation has acted on all its financial and non-financial obligations vis a vis Queiroz. Of course, the IR of Iran has limitations regarding all international financial transactions. This does not apply solely to the Football Federation.”
