(Persia Digest)- Two Iranian women artists, Mahdieh Dehghani and Atefeh Khas, have been invited to take part in the Kochro international art project taking place in Germany 19 August- 4 September 2017.
The artists will create their temporary works in 16 workshops in nature. These will be photographed, filmed, and displayed at the Forest Art Center. Thirteen artists from Iran, Hungary, S Korea, India, Lithuania, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, and twelve artists from Germany will be taking part. The workshops are hosted by the UNESCO Global Geopark in Germany.
Mahdieh Dehghani, born in Kerman in 1980, is a graphic artist and teacher. She has taken part in a number of environmental art festivals in Iran and her works have been showcased in Hungary, Romania, S Korea, Germany, and the US.
Atefeh Khas, born in Tehran in 1986, is an undergraduate in painting and graduate in art research. Her works have been showcased in international exhibitions, such as Focus Iran at the Los Angeles Craft and Folk Art Museum, the Kathmandu International Art Festival, and also in Canada, the US, Romania,
S Korea, Bulgaria, Poland, Tunisia, Greece, Hungary, and France.
In recent years, many custodians of the arts have made large-scale investments globally to revamp the arts on an international scale.
