(Persia Digest) – Japanese musician, Kitaro, will be staging another concert in Iran in April, in Tehran and a number of other cities.
This will be Kitaro’s second trip to Iran after three years. Following his first concert in Tehran, he will go on a tour to entertain his New Age music fans in other Iranian cities.
Ne Masanori Takahashi, nicknamed Kitaro, he first came to Iran three years ago in 2014. He was met with a great audience, motivating him to return here once again. All licenses have been issued for the tour and tickets will be on sale soon.
Concert organizer, Ali Cheraghali, said about the program: “I am happy to say that all licenses for the tour have been issued. This was scheduled to take place on 23 February 2018 in Tehran. But, due to some changes in our programs, this date has been finalized for April in Tehran and other cities.”
He continued: “After Kitaro’s last trip, we received many requests from the provinces to organize a tour of Iran. This prompted us to get planning. Program details will be announced shortly. We are doing our best to stage “The legend of Japanese music in Iran” tour in a fitting, special way.”
Masanori Takahashi, known as Kitaro, has many fans in Iran. He became known with his album “Silk Road”, which was not only a hit in Iran, but worldwide. Kitaro won the Grammy award in 1994, known as the music Oscar in the world of entertainment, for the soundtrack of “Heaven and earth” composed by Oliver Stone.
Kitaro has been living in San Francisco for many years. He composes his music, taken from the sounds of nature, mainly in his own studio in the mountains of Japan.
