(Persia Digest) - The Islamic Republic of Iran's Food and Drug Administration (IFDA) has announced a doubling of its exports in pharmaceuticals and raw materials in 2017.
The IFDA has announced that its volume of exports in 2017 amounted to USD 120MM, of which
USD 110MM were medicinal drugs and USD 10MM raw materials.
A comparison of exports for 2017 with a similar period last year (USD 70MM) indicates nearly a twofold increase in pharmaceutical exports and raw materials.
Data assessment show that these were mostly single source and chemotherapy drugs, mostly exported to Russia, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan.
