(Persia Digest) – A member of the Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Committee has announced that the Iranian hospital in Dubai was shut down as a result of the sabotages of the government of the United Arab Emirates.
Mohammad Ebrahim Rezaei said: “The hospital has a long history in providing various services to both Iranians residing in Dubai and the local people. During the recent years that UAE has been playing in the ground of the Saudi Arabia and US, it has taken many anti-Iranian positions like trying to close the hospital which was only serving the people.”

Noting that the UAE had no reason to close the hospital, he added: “UAE hostility and anger has led to the closure of a hospital which was a symbol of services and relations between the two nations. Their policy is to put Iran under pressure so that it either closes the hospital or hands it over to the UAE government.”
Shutting down the place will deprive both Iranians residing in the UAE and other UAE residents of services provided by the hospital.
