(Persia Digest) – Talking about the ‘Yes to JCPOA’ posters visible on the wall of his Embassy, the German Ambassador to Tehran has described this as efforts by his country to keep and implement the Iran nuclear deal.

Michael Klor-Berchtold tweeted ‘With these posters, we want to tell the Iranian public how much Germany is trying to maintain and implement the nuclear deal.’

He added the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is a clear example of how complicated international conflicts can be resolved through peaceful negotiations. Alongside France, the UK, US, China, and Russia we showed that diplomacy and dialogue are stronger than controversy and conflict, said the German envoy. He went on to say that despite the opposition voices, Germany in committed to maintaining and implementing the JCPOA.

A collection of ‘Yes to JCPOA’ posters are currently hanging from the walls of the Germany Embassy in the capital of Tehran to promote the nuclear deal and its implementation. These adorn the Embassy walls next to posters of attractive sights in Germany.

All the posters say ‘To maintain and implement the Nuclear Treaty of Vienna signed between Iran, China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union (E3/EU+3) and supported by the UN Security Council Resolution 2231 (2015)’.  Each one also bears the words of the German FM Sigmar Hartmut Gabriel, Ambassador Michael Klor-Berchtold in Tehran, and Ambassador Peter Wittig German envoy to Washington in support of JCPOA.
