The fourteenth joint commission of Iran and Belarus economic cooperation will be held on 22-23 January of the current year at the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, chaired by Shariatmadari, Iran’s Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade, and Vouk, the Belarus Minister of Industries.
The French automakers Renault exported over 162 thousand cars to Iran in 2017, making this their eight largest market in the world. Renault sales in Iran shows a rise of 49.3% as compared to a similar period last year. In the months of January through to December 2016, France exported over 108 thousand and 536 cars to the Iranian market.
China’s third commercial train has pulled into the Incheh Borun border town of Golestan Province on the Iran-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan railway line. As reported by Persia Digest, the train was carrying 41 containers. After completing the customs paper works, it left for Tehran on the Gorgan-Tehran line for the customs office in Shahriar, Tehran Province.
According to statistics released by the IR of Iran customs, USD 39MM worth of clothing has been exported over the first nine months of the Iranian calendar, begging in March. The exports measure 3000 tons in weight of various styles of clothing exported to a number of countries.

Deputy Director for Planning and Investment of Iran National Heritage Organization said: “During the past five years, we have been able to have one billion dollars of foreign investment in Iran’s tourism industry for approved projects. From this amount, 300 million dollars have so far been absorbed in Iran’s tourism sector and the remaining is in the process of being invested.”
Iran’s non-oil exports to the Association of Southeast Asia Nations “ASEAN” had a growth of 80 percent in 2017 as compared with a similar period last year. As reported by Persia Digest, in 2017 Iran had more than USD 1280MM of non-oil exports to ASEAN member countries. In 2016, this figure stood at USD 711MM. Showing an 80% growth in Iran’s non-oil exports to ASEAN as compared with the year before that.
The first permanent Persian carpet showroom and shop called “Pasargade” has opened in the capital of Indonesia for handmade and machine made carpets. An Iranian tanker has been involved in a collusion with a Chinese ship in the East China Sea. The lives of the 32 Iranian crew are feared lost.
The 30 Iranian and two Bangladeshi crew members aboard the Iranian tanker are missing, feared dead. Kasra Nouri, PR Manager of the National Iranian Oil Company, announced: “The tanker belonged to the Iranian fleet and was carrying condensate. The ship and its cargo are covered by a credible insurance company.”
The managing director of Chabahar Free Trade Zone said in order to reduce travel costs to this southeastern Iranian port, agreements have been made in principle for establishing a private airline for Chabahar FTZ.
