(Persia Digest) – The French automakers Renault exported over 162 thousand cars to Iran in 2017, making this their eight largest market in the world.
Renault sales in Iran shows a rise of 49.3% as compared to a similar period last year. In the months of January through to December 2016, France exported over 108 thousand and 536 cars to the Iranian market.
In 2017, the Iranian market took 4.3% of the automaker’s global market. Renault sold over 3 million and 760 thousand cars worldwide in 2017, showing an increase of 8.5% as compared to a similar period last year.
Iran ranks 8th in the world as a market for Renault. Topping the list are France, Russia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Brazil.
