(Persia Digest) – As of today, Iranian handicrafts have been taken to most international exhibitions in 2017-2018. They will also be on show from tomorrow, 7 February 2018, at the 2018 Tokyo International Gift Show.
According to the Touring & Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iranian artisans will participate in the 42nd edition of the Tokyo International Gift Show which is taking place for three days at the Tokyo Big Sight.
Iran’s stand will be present here in association with the Touring & Automobile Club and the tourism information representative of Iran. Ten artisans from the provinces of Kerman, Hamedan, Tehran, South Khorasan, Zanjan, and East Azerbaijan will showcase their handicrafts at the Gift Show.
These include pottery, ceramic, patchwork, leatherwork, data-x-items woven on looms, miniature, point lace, precious and semi-precious stones, and batik printing. The artists will be looking to find trade partners at the show from other countries and promote the culture of Iran.
The Tokyo International Gift Show is known as the best gateway to Japan’s gift market. Apart from Iran, this year it is host to countries such as Italy, Australia, Holland, Taiwan, China, Germany, Nepal, USA, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Lithuania, and Korea.
On show here are toys, stationery, handicrafts, and salon shows, with slogans such as designing for life and a better life with better designs.
