(Persia Digest) – As of today, the government of Iran has issued licenses for 165 Afghan companies in the Chabahar Free Zone.

As reported by the “Tolou-e Afghanistan” network, the Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan has said that out of the 500 companies holding licenses to operate in Chabahar, 165 are from Afghanistan.

The Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan added: “Iran will continue its efforts to establish the Kabul-Chabahar-Dubai flight to facilitate access by Afghan investors to world markets.”

Iran, India, and Afghanistan singed an MoU in May 2016 to allow businessmen from Afghanistan to invest in Chabahar and use this port for their economic activities.
