(Persia Digest) – Prominent Iranian filmmaker, Amir Naderi, will be honoured at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris from 5 April till 17 June 2018 (Amir Naderi et le cinéma moderne Iranien).
His lasting movies will be screened at the event, such as “La Montagne”, “Nature morte”, “Le Coureur”, and “Cut”. It seems only two of his films will not be shown here, namely “Made in Iran” and “60 Seconds of solitude in year zero”.
Amir Naderi will also hold his master class here with critic and historian of cinema, Jean-Michel Frodon.
Alongside the nearly complete screening of Naderi’s works, films by Sohrab Shahid Sales, Dariush Mehrjouei, Bahman Farmanara, Nasser Taghvaei, Abbas Kiarostami, Kamrak Shirdel, Parviz Kimiaei, Mohsen Makhmalbaf, and Kianush Ayari will also be screened here from the modern cinema of Iran during two and a half months.
