(Persia Digest) – Following an exhibition of Iranian historic artifacts in France, one such exhibition is also being planned for Holland in the summer of 2018 called “Iran – Cradle of civilizations”.
Around 2000 artifacts from Iran, belonging to the prehistoric, historic, and Islamic eras have been selected from the National Iranian Museum to go on show at the Drents Museum in Assens.
An MoU was signed between the two museums for the exhibition of the artifacts in Assens during a visit the by the CEO of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran to Holland in December 2017 and his Dutch counterparts.
Earlier, the exhibition titled “The Rose Empire: Masterpieces of 19th-Century Persian Art at Musée du Louvre-Lens” was organized in March 2018, meeting with a great audience in France. Masterpieces from the Qajar era from Golestan Palace and other valuable objects of different eras from the National Museum of Iran had been selected for the show in France.
