(Persia Digest) – Sotheby’s London has auctioned fourteen works by Iranian artists at a session of “20th Century Art/ Middle East”.
Sixty artworks will go under the hammer altogether, fourteen of which are by Iranian artists. The auction will take place on 24 April 2018.
A painting by Sohrab Sepehri is priced at 200-300 thousand pounds. Next is a work by Bahman Mohassess, priced at 280-350 thousand pounds. Other works include one by Farshid Maleki priced at 8-12 thousand pounds, and a work by Mahmoud Saeid priced at 300-500 thousand pounds.
Works by Iranian artists include five pieces by Bahman Mohassess, one by Sohrab Sepeheri, two by Monir Farmanfarmaian, three by Manouchehr Yektaei, and others by Farshid Maleki, one by Behjat Sadre, Mahmoud Saeid, and Bahman Dadkhah.
