(Persia Digest) - Elaheh Ahmadi, the Iranian national team shooter, with achieving 6,330 points, smashed the world record previously achieved by the Chinese athlete at the World Championships.

According to the Shooting Federation, Elaheh Ahmadi won the first round of the free rifle tournament (unofficial), and according to the new 60-rounds rule, she won 6,330 points to become the champion of the tournament.

Sun Nig from China had previously won the World Championship in Mexico World Championships in March 2018 with 629.5 points.

Elaheh Ahmadi, the Iranian shooter born in 1982 in Tehran, was one of the most successful athletes in the entire Iranian team with three silver and bronze medals at the Guangzhou Asian Games.
