(Persia Digest) – Five thousand and fifty short films from 120 countries have registered at the 35th Tehran International Short Film Festival.
Of these, 38 percent are fiction, 20 percent experimental, 17 percent documentaries, 15 percent animation, and 10 percent are video art.
The films have been registered via the three websites of Short Film Depot, Click for Festivals, and Film Freeway.
Most of the registrations are from France, followed by the US, India, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil, the UK, Russia, and Turkey respectively.
The films in the international competition section will be selected by the jury and named on 1 September 2018.
Persia Digest reports that the 35th Tehran International Short Film Festival will run 9-13 November 2018.
