(Persia Digest) – Iranian photographers have been accredited at the Pacific-Atlantic Photography Circuit 2018, which is jointly staged by Greece, Singapore, and the USA.
The festival takes place in four categories under the supervision of FIAP and PSA. The Focus Club photographers, which is the only FIAP representative in Iran, were also accepted in the various categories.
The Greece Award List included Iranians Reza Amelipour with “Sis”, winner of GAP bronze medal, and Sepideh Niksefat Zendehdel with “Hermit” winner of the AIP silver medal. The Singapore Award List included Amin Dehghan with “Base Camp” winner of PSS HM, and Saeid Mohammadzadeh with “Galaxy Ship” winner of AIP HM. The US Award List included Ehsan Mortazavi with “Baby Monkey” winner of GPU HM.
Persia Digest reports that FIAP is the only Unesco registered international photography organization. It was established in 1946 and has been a link between various national photography organizations worldwide ever since. It has over 90 members in five continents. FIAP has only one office in every country and its official representative in Iran is the Focus Photography Club.
