Persia Digest - The second Iranian Film Festival opened with the screening of six feature films including Winter Sleep, Love-stricken, Canaan, The Missing Truth, The Last Supper and The Song of Sparrows at Manila State University.

In this two day summer festival, in addition to the Iranian films, several films from Japan and the Philippines will also be screened for Iranian and foreign fans. After the screening of each film, a question and answer session will be held with the participation of students and faculty members of the university.

As per Persia Digest’s report, the first Iranian Film Festival was held in January last year, with the screening of Crazy Rook, Mazar Sharif, Sweet Taste of Imagination, Bodyguard, and Where Are My Shoes? in Manila.

Around 500 Iranian students are currently studying at various universities in the Philippines
