(Persia Digest) - "A Look at Chinese Cinema" will be held from 15 to 17 August in the cities of Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Tabriz, Kerman and Babol simultaneously.

The opening ceremony of the program will be held at the Cinema Museum in Tehran on Wednesday, 15 August, at 17h00, attended by Chinese Embassy officials, ambassadors from other countries and deputy chiefs of mission, cultural attachés, actors, and prominent cultural and artistic figures.

"A Look at Chinese Cinema" will screen three feature films of Chinese cinema.

“Aftershock” (Feng Xiaogang) made in 2010 will be screened as the first film of this program after the opening ceremony.

“Mountains May Depart” (Jia Zhangke) made in 2015 will be the second film and “A Tale of Three Cities” (Mabel Cheung) made in 2015 will be the third film featured in "A Look at Chinese Cinema".

This program will be open to the public.
