(Persia Digest) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said the US setup of Iran Action Group in line with its long-standing hostile policies is contrary to international law, stating: “This action is a pointless psychological and economic warfare.”

Bahram Ghasemi continued: “These actions have no result. They will be controlled with the relevant strategies and people’s resistance. It is mostly a psychological warfare, especially on the anniversary of the 1953 CIA led coup in Iran. It calls to mind the history of our relations with the United States and the hostile behavior that this country has had towards Iran over the past decades.”
