(Persia Digest) – Mohammad Taha Eghdami, the little boy who was injured by the Al Ahwazieh terrorist group in Ahvaz this morning, has died from his wounds in hospital. The little boy who had come with his mother to watch his father, Sa’dollah Eghdami, in the parade was martyred by the terrorists and was among the good who died young.

This is what his father had to say: “My wife and son had come to watch the parade. They were both shot at the scene. They killed my son in front of my eyes and my wife is now in the operating theater.” Officer Eghdami added that his son was going to start kindergarten tomorrow.

Persia Digest reported that the terrorist Al Ahwazieh group opened fire on the military parade and onlookers in Ahvaz this morning.

The latest reports put the number of dead at 25, including one journalist and one child. Over 57 have been injured in the attack. Some are said to be in a critical condition.

Al Ahwazieh group have claimed responsibility for the attack.

Al Ahwazieh spokesperson claimed they only attacked the IRGC where there were no civilians present. This claim is made while one child has been killed and a large number of civilians, including women and children, are among the injured.

Persia Digest reports that the Al Ahwazieh terrorists are a separatist group active in parts of Iran, including Khuzestan, Boushehr, and some regions in the southern Fars Province.
