(Persia Digest) – The first gold mine has been discovered in Hamedan Province, western Iran.

This is still in the exploratory stage. The presence of precious metals has been established, but its gold content and karat is not yet clear and research is ongoing.

This is Hamedan Province’s first gold mine in Eshvand village near Nahavand town.
