(Persia Digest) – In concordance with the World Theater Day, Iran Theater Week will be held at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
The event will be staged to bring Iranian and Russian cultures closer together and create a better understanding of Iranian theater. It will run for a week from 28 March 2019 in Moscow.
According to Solmaz Hematzadeh, Director of the Iranian Theater Week in Moscow, the event will open with a performance of Iranian classical music and traditional plays including naghali etc. This will be followed by four plays from Iran over four nights and a joint play by Iran and Russia.
Persia Digest (PD) reports that a project called “From the red apple to the blue sea” was also staged in Moscow with the participation of a theater company from Iran last year.
