(Persia Digest) - Iran's deputy foreign minister said US withdrawal from the JCPOA is a sign of its unreliability, adding that everybody should appreciate Trump for doing so, IRNA reports.

In a tweet late on Wednesday marking the third anniversary of the JCPOA, Abbas Araqchi said that today marks the third anniversary of the landmark deal, which showed how much the US is unreliable.

“One president signs, the other exits,” he said, noting that Trump is appreciated for showing to what extent the US is unreliable. Shame on you.

The JCPOA was concluded between Iran and six world powers in 2015 and it was also endorsed by the United Nations Security Council.

In May, 2018, Trump unilaterally pulled the US out of the deal and reinstated the sanctions against Iran, whcih drew global comunity's protest.
