(Persia Digest) – After forty days of excavations on Bozrudpay mound in Babol, northern Iran, archaeologists have found an adult human skeleton in the fetal position buried next to a clay oven belonging to the Bronze Age (2000 BCE).

In the Bronze Age, bodies were traditionally buried in the fetal position next to oven clays.
