(Persia Digest) – The Japanese Embassy in Iran intends to screen selected Japanese films on 28 February-1 March 2019 in Tehran in association with the Farabi Cinema Foundation.

The screenings include four Japanese films at the Farabi Cinema Foundation and Japanese Embassy.

Based on the program announced by the embassy in Tehran, the films screened at the foundation’s Abbas Kiarostami Hall on 28 February are “Rudolf the black cat” (2016) at 15h00 hours and the “Samurai cat” (2014) at 17h00 hours. The screening is open to the public and free of charge.

The screenings on 1 March will be at the embassy’s multipurpose hall and includes the matinée “Pop in Q” (2016) at 11h00 hours and the animation “Your name” (2016) at 14h00 hours. Interested audiences must register by 26 February before 16h30 hours at the Japanese Embassy.
