(Persia Digest) - Diplomats' Golf Cup tournament was held in Tehran on Friday, and ended with a few countries winning the tournament.
Ambassadors and chargé d’affaires from Britain, the Netherlands, South Korea, Chile, Vietnam, Nigeria, Brunei, Qatar and Turkmenistan participated in the tournament.
More than 40 diplomats from about 30 countries were present at the closing ceremony held at the Milad Tower in Tehran, and an agreement was signed to help the flood-affected people in Iran.
At the end of the tournament, the representatives of Vietnam, Britain, Brunei, South Korea and the Netherlands won in various sections and were awarded.
At the closing ceremony, the cultural deputy of Iran's Ministry of Sport stated that: "Iran has always communicated with other countries with an attitude towards peace, and hopes to see this attitude in all sectors, and that hostility and enmity be replaced by peace and friendship".
