A few days ago, the IRGC news agency Tasnim uploaded a high definition footage on its website obtained by the IRGC naval forces showing the US warship being closely monitored in the Persian Gulf. Certain regional media such as Al Arabiya immediately tried to portray the published images as unrealistic and fabricated, considering it a scandal for Iran.

CENTCOM has now confirmed that the footage is real.
